It’s pretty safe to say that most women of a certain age are concerned about the physical signs of aging. Age spots, wrinkles, and dark circles are just a few of the things that keep women, and some men, angling for ways to look younger. Although plastic surgery seems to be more popular than ever these days, it does carry considerable risks along with some pretty steep costs. Fortunately, there are some noninvasive cosmetic procedures that can take years off your appearance without forcing you to go under the knife.
A craniofacial disorder or anomaly refers to a category of deformities in the growth of the head and facial bones. Anomaly is a medical term that means “different from normal” or “irregular.” These types of anomalies are congenital (present at birth) and can occur in many different forms. They can be mild or severe enough to warrant surgery. Sometimes, craniofacial disorders are also associated with disorders elsewhere in the body, causing further complications. In the U.S., nearly 600,000 people have been diagnosed with a craniofacial condition.

Yoga has been around for a very long time. It dates back to ancient times, more than 5,000 years ago, with many yoga and health experts saying even longer. Though many of the earliest recorded yoga practices have been lost or destroyed, there is still enough of that early information in existence and available today to see where current yoga practices and poses come from, regardless of the changes that have occurred over the centuries. So why is it still around? And why is it even more popular today than ever before? The answers are simple. Yoga has many health benefits. Today, yoga is widely practiced in the United States and throughout the world because of those benefits to mind and body. Experienced and knowledgeable yoga teachers recommend it for the many number of advantages it gives to mental and physical well-being. And, though many folks consider yoga’s benefits to be intangible, the truth is that yoga can bring many tangible health benefits as well.
